Razzia Futbol Club

The Razzia Futbol Club had its inaugural season in 2008-09.  Formerly three individual clubs--West Wind, Midvalley Majik, and West United--we combined our resources and talents to form a great club that is growing in size, respectability, and reputation.

We have created a unified soccer club that is dedicated to teaching kids the importance of sportsmanship, the skills needed to play competitive soccer, and the responsibility that comes with playing a team sport.

UYSA's Athlete of the Month for August 2009

The Athlete of the Month for August is Trevor Cobb. He was chosen not only for his athletic abilities but also his outstanding citizenship and academic achievements.

Trevor started playing recreation soccer at the age of 3 and moved on to playing with the Midvalley Magyk. He currently plays on the U13 Razzia FC Ruff Ryders in the Premier division for UYSA. He has participated in several 3V3 and full sided tournaments. He was also in the ODP 97 training pool this last year.

Trevor's coach Jeremiah Bailey says that "Trevor is an amazing athlete, who has a great understanding of the game. He is one versatile young boy! Don't let his size fool you, he has a heart of a giant."

His favorite soccer team is Arsenal, Barcelona. Trevor's favorite movie is "Rocketman" and "Ice Age 3", and his favorite book is "Percy Jackson & the Olympians Series". He loves to eat Chicken Cordon Bleu.

Trevor's most memorable moment was participating in Kick It 3V3 tournament, his team won the local and regional tournament (Vail,CO). They played the Championships in Walt Disney World, FL.

Trevor loves to go camping, hiking, playing video games, chess, and any activity the family does together. He loves serving his community. He does so by being involved in Boy Scouts of America and helping with highway clean up for his local Rotary Club. Trevor academically has enrolled in the Magnet Program at Fox Hills Elementary. He is in the top five of his class in grades and citizenship. He also received the Presidential Academic in Excellence Award in 6th grade.

Congratulations to Trevor for winning this award. The athlete of the month receives a 6 week training program from TOSH to improve speed, power, and agility. TOSH is a proud sponsor of Utah Youth Soccer Association.
